A thundering barge launch at Brownsville Marine Products! Stephanie Cook, Production/Scheduling Coordinator of BMP served as our guide during the production day in Brownsville which included a the launching of a completed barge.
Our thanks to President and CEO Tim Scheib for his insights into the barge industry and production as well as his generosity in allowing us to film at the facility. Also, we’d like to thank Bruce Platusich, Director of Engineering for his tour of the Engineering Department and Jeremy Shipley, Supervisor of Marine Repair, for sharing his experiences as BMP and what it takes to keep those barges safely on the river.
